Our Story: Gardening through Grief
Our Story
21 Bees Flower Farm is a sister-owned flower farm rooted in love, loss, and healing. Our story began in 2023 after we lost our dad to cancer. In the midst of grief, we each found different ways to cope — one through tears and waves, the other with hands in the soil.
What began as a way to survive grief became a calling. Gardening became a place to process pain, honor our dad, and allow something beautiful to grow. The name 21 Bees honors his legacy as a sprint car driver whose number was 21B.
Our first season in 2024 started as a trial year, with seeds grown in a basement and transplanted into carefully tended garden beds. With the support of our incredible community, those first blooms turned into something more.
Today, 21 Bees Flower Farm continues to grow — offering seasonal blooms, a summer CSA, and memorial pieces — all rooted in our belief that beauty can emerge from pain.
